Our Story

Founder Dr. Rao Polavarapu relocated to Houston from Canada when he took an early retirement from a distinguished career with Environmental Canada where his weather forecasting models earned him several national and international awards. While in Canada, he invested in commercial real estates starting from only a few apartment units, which he renovated, then sold, rolling the proceeds into even larger projects. After several such “buy-improved-sell” cycles, he liquidated his holdings and moved to Houston, Texas.

In 1997, Dr. Rao and his wife, Vijaya Polavarapu, started Falls Management Group when they acquired the 364-unit Falls of Point West, thereafter the 100-unit Pelican Landing Condo in 1998. Today that number has grown to 21 properties, and 7,180 units.

Dr. Rao’s vision is to provide a safe, friendly community with lush tropical landscaping, attractive luxurious units, and an array of amenities. Strategically located all over Houston, each property is in a neighborhood surrounded by life’s daily demands.
